2025 has just begun – and some are already sensing how the game is going! Some are troubled with thoughts of fear, anxiety, while others are optimistic and hoping for the best. So to begin this year we are going to talk about faith for a few weeks…and then another POP quiz! Let’s have some fun. Are you readyyyyy?!?

“I believe there is only one way to all the treasures of God, and that is the way of faith.” – S. Wigglesworth

As I (skye) write, there is great turmoil all around; perhaps in your world as well. Still, God makes a way. Here is a useful word that is for right now: ‘Fear not!’ Say that aloud just now, wherever you are. Say it, “Fear not”. Did you know how often God said this? He said it to Moses, to Joshua, Job, to those who were the judges in Israel, and others… many others. Angels said these words. Jesus said these words. It may surprise you – this phrase appears 365 times in the Bible? 365 times! Do you think God is trying to get something across?

But wait…does God really know what’s going on in your life and mine? Pro 11:15 says “The Lord knows what is happening in the world of the dead, so he surely knows the thoughts of the living.” An incredible insight, right? So if He knows, does He not care?

Hear the words of Agur in Proverbs 30:2-4 “I am the most stupid person there is, and I have no understanding…and I don’t know much about God, the Holy One. Who has gone up to heaven and come back down?” In Agur’s words lie a subtle clue to the answer, “Does God care?” The direct and blunt answer is from the Apostle who wrote in John 1 and I John 1:

In the beginning was the word and the word was with God. And the word

became flesh and dwelt among us. And with our eyes we have seen him

up close; we lived with him and checked him out thoroughly – and what I am

telling you is what I will give my life for: he is the Son of God.

God cared enough to send the best He had. “For God so loved the world that He gave us His Son – His only Son, so that whoever believes on Him would have life.” Isn’t that powerful?

So, dear friend, what’s ahead for you in 2025? Whatever it is, will you choose the way of faith? Why not repeat it one more time – aloud. “Fear not!” These are Jesus’ words to you and me and there are none more powerful!

Do not fear your circumstances; Do not fear for your future; Do not fear the people around you or the person you work for or the condition of your neighborhood or the world; do not fear for your health or your spouse’s health! Do not fear things unknown in the future; do not fear for your reputation or fear rejection from those who do not know Christ. Share Jesus without fear.

DO NOT FEAR. Period. God will make a way. He always does. Put your life squarely in God’s hands. Hand it all over to Him. Everything.

Let’s pray: Jesus, through the power of your Holy Spirit, vitalize my faith. Give me supernatural faith that I may see – in a new way – the glory of God working in my life as you want me to. Amen.

Smith Wigglesworth: “Sometimes it takes God a long time to bring us through the groaning and crying before we can believe.” (But it is not these things that deliver the plan and power of God. It is because we believe.)
