Are you a Pioneer? Some are ‘pioneers’ by nature; but HONESTLY, MOST ARE NOT. In fact, taking risks scares many of us spitless! (did I just say “spitless”?!) Ha!
NONETHELESS, WE ALL TAKE SOME PRETTY BIG RISKS – AND mostly WITH SUCCESS!
- Remember when you learned how to drive! (I scared everyone!)
- Remember asking for/ accepting your first date & trying to work up the courage to call?
- Remember preparing to interview for that job you really wanted?
- How ‘bout purchasing your first vehicle? Or home? How scary ‘signing your life away.’
Maybe you haven’t thought of it like this. But each of these required faith! So its likely you already HAVE some wins under your belt! [Go ahead and pat yourself on the back; then give God some praise.]
A friend recently caught my attention with her post: “EMBRACE THE UNKNOWN—IT’S WHERE LIFE’S GREATEST ADVENTURES BEGIN.” She and her husband know first-hand!
Imagine this: “The disciples could NEVER have envisioned the adventures Jesus had for them when He said to them, ‘Launch out into the deep’.”** BUT each of those rather ordinary, hum drum individuals had extraordinary experiences, amazing answers to prayer and miraculous accomplishments!
“Those who know their God shall be strong and carry out great exploits” Dan 11:32
So maybe taking risks is not your forte. It isn’t with most! But did you know, you took a risk when you first came to Christ. The call of Faith is itself a step into the UNKNOWN. Saying ‘Yes’ to Jesus, we are beginning a journey into the Unknown! And in reality, each step of obedience thereafter results in a stronger FAITH, a growing faith. How has your faith grown in the last 3 years? How easy it is for believers to drift into the bland waters of low-level expectations! That’s one of several reasons we began iOutreach Inc.
I’ll take a moment to thank God for our iOi Ambassadors! These people are taking steps INTO Adventure by committing to efforts in seed sowing and soul winning. Would you like to be among them? Click ‘reply’ and say “Y”. That’s all. You don’t have to feel like you’re all alone facing the Unknown. When you say ‘Yes’, you will join other believers from the east to the west coast sowing Gospel seeds.
Jesus is truly honored when our faith is vitalized. Remember it was JESUS who promised “…greater works than these shall (you) do because I go to my Father.” (Jn 14:12)
Praying for a vitalized faith, God brings situations to bear that provide opportunity for our faith to grow and flourish! And it often means facing the unknown! When we do, when we step into the UNKNOWN, we are following in the steps of the heroes of the faith like Abraham Gen 12-15, Moses Ex 3, Joshua 1:1-3, 7-9, David I Sam 17 and more (Heb 11).
Furthermore, if we will accept it, there are things God has planned in advance and ordained for us to do and become (Eph 2:10)! Praise His glorious name! Let’s do them! Easter Resurrection Sunday is just over 3 weeks away! It’s when God performed the unbelievable and shook the world! By seed sowing, you can be an ongoing part of it! Click ‘reply’ and say “Y”! iOi
